Arrive at Keflavik International Airport and take the included transportation with your group to Iceland's capital city of Reykjavík.
Eat breakfast in a hip downtown Reykjavik establishment, and then drive to Thingvellir National Park, where you will see a massive rift valley dividing the North American & Eurasian tectonic plates.
Spend the afternoon relaxing in the geothermal pools & steam baths before taking a refreshing dip in the lake.
Depart for the South Coast to your family-run boutique style accommodation, your home base for the week.
Skógafoss & Glacier Walk
Drive along the South Coast and gather on Iceland's lunar landscape for a guided ice walk across Sólheimajökull Glacier with some of Iceland's best mountain guides.
In the afternoon, stop at Skógafoss, for a short hike to the top of one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Iceland. Your Trip Leader will take you to a secret waterfall in the area.
Enjoy a delicious dinner made from locally sourced ingredients and then soak in the hut tub after a busy day out.
South Coast Explorations
Visit Seljalandsfoss waterfall, under the famous Eyjafjallajökull volcano.
Reach Reynisfjara, the world-famous black sand beach and admire the beauty of the basalt columns, lava caves, and hear the legend of the trolls turned to stone.
Hop on an Icelandic horse for an optional ride under the dramatic coastal cliffs, or take a scenic hike around the area.
Thorsmork Tour
Venture to the scenic Valley of Thor.
This unique valley is surrounded by mountains, nestled amongst three glaciers--Eyjafjallajökull, Mýrdalsjökull, and Tindfjallajökull.
You will reach the valley in a Super Jeep equipped to drive on rough terrain & cross Icelandic rivers.

Reykjadalur Valley Hike & Hot Springs
Today, hike one of the most iconic regions of Iceland, the Reykjadalur “steam valley.” Explore this incredible landscape complete with hot springs and mud pools. Spend some time bathing in the geothermal river.
After your hike, you will visit Hveragerði, a town built on a geothermal area, best known hot springs and flowers. You will have lunch in the town before returning to your accommodation.
Enjoy your last night in Iceland with your new friends and a delicious final dinner together.
Blue Lagoon & Departure
Depart South Iceland in the morning and drive back to Reykjavík.
Visit the world-famous Blue Lagoon, and take your final dip in the geothermal seawater. Reflect upon your time in Iceland and review what you’ve learned.
